As some of you might already know, we are occasionally also releasing digital versions of our licensed games - and today we are happy to announce Blazing Rangers as our very first digital retro game release - in collaboration with its developer, Karu_gamo!

While a lot of NES fans were obviously thrilled to get this new 8bit release as an actual cartridge, we've also received a lot of requests for an official ROM release for use via emulator or flashcard. More options to enjoy this amazing game are always great, so now you can also go for a digital purchase, if you prefer!

The digital release of Blazing Rangers is exclusively available here on itch.io for $12.99 and contains the following files:

Please note that either a compatible emulator is needed to play the ROM files on the device of your choice, or a flashcard to play it on original FC or NES hardware.

While preparing it for the international NES release, Blazing Rangers has received special PAL & NTSC optimizations: The NES got different clocking speeds (50/60hz) depending on the hardware's region. PAL systems suffered from slower gameplay and music, which is especially taxing for action-based games.

Blazing Rangers is one of the very few games for the system that plays almost identically on all console variants despite this: The movement, clock and spawning speed will adjust to the hardware, the music will do the same as well.

On the cartridges, the game swaps between the NTSC and PAL optimized game files, in the download, you'll have them available as separate files.

Blazing Rangersは海外ユーザー用にNES版として更なる調整で、PALとNTSCの特殊な最適化を実装しました。まず、ハードウェアの再生地域によって異なるクロック速度（50/60hz）を得ました。 PAL式では、ゲームプレイと音楽がスローになってしまうという問題がありました。特にアクションベースのゲームでは負担が大きくかかります。

Blazing Rangersは、前述のいくつかのハードルを乗り越え、ほとんどのゲーム機でほぼ同じようにストレスフリーでプレイできる数少ないゲームソフトの一つです。
動作、タイム、スポーン速度はハードウェアに合わせて調整されており、BGMなどのサウンドも同様に調整されています。

実際のカセット版では、NTSCとPALに最適化されたゲームファイルで入れ替わりますが、ダウンロード版ではそれらを個別のファイルとしてプレイできます。
